Reserve overview
Rockview is a 1,957-hectare wilderness property near Inverell on the western edge of the New England Tableland. Its dramatic granite landscape—marked by tors, cliffs, and sweeping rock slopes—supports old growth forest and nationally threatened Box-Gum Grassy Woodland, providing habitat for a range of threatened species.
Acquired by Endeavour Conservation in 2009, Rockview was protected from expanding agriculture and ongoing feral animal threats.

Conservation Highlights
Its conservation value is amplified by direct connectivity to four neighbouring reserves—The Springs, Ironbark Nature Reserve, Bornhardtia VCA, and Rockview South—creating a 6,000-hectare block of contiguous protected habitat, with Rockview at its heart.
Rockview sits within a Regional Habitat Corridor and in an area identified as a priority for conservation.
